Children's Online Resources & Homework Help

The library offers 24/7 access to online resources for general interest and to help with school assignments. Online resources are also available to Naperville Public Library cardholders from outside the library.

Parent/Teacher Collection, through 5th grade

The Parent/Teacher collection includes teacher resources and materials on child development and parenting.

Early Literacy

Naperville Public Library wants every child in Naperville to be given the best possible chance to succeed. To help accomplish this goal, the library has adopted Every Child Ready to Read®, an early childhood literacy program developed by the Public Library Association. To find out more about the library’s Early Literacy services, including presentations to parents and teachers, please contact Children's Services, at 630-961-4100.

Plan a Visit to the Library: K - Grade 5

Day care, preschool, school, and scouting groups are welcome to visit our library. Visits last about 30 minutes and include a storytime and walking tour of the Children's Department. Please schedule your visit at least 2 weeks in advance.
