Federal and State Tax Forms

The Federal government and the State of Illinois are strongly encouraging all taxpayers to file electronically.

The following tax forms will be available at the library in very limited quantities.

FEDERAL: 1040 form booklet (with Schedules 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5) and instruction booklet. Forms 1040A and 1040EZ are no longer in use.

STATE: IL-1040 Form and instruction booklet and Schedule ICR

Get Help Filing Your 2018 Taxes

Volunteer Tax Assistance

IRS - Free online filing

The IRS provides options for filing your taxes online.  Depending on your income and situation, you may be able to file for free.

Tax Assistance at the Library

Get free tax return preparation and e-filing for low-income families and individuals. Household income should be less than $54,000 a year.

IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free tax help for taxpayers who qualify.

    Volunteers are trained to help prepare your tax return during tax season from January to April at no cost to you. Appointments are required. Please call 630-355-3663 for more information.
