Naperville Public Library to offer curbside service beginning May 11

NAPERVILLE, ILLINOIS –April 28, 2020- Starting Monday, May 11, Naperville Public Library will begin to offer curbside service at each of its three buildings.

“This is a chance for the library to provide our community with much needed education, entertainment, and escapism,” said Executive Director Dave Della Terza. “Curbside service will help us serve the community while maintaining social distance and keeping everyone involved safe.”

More information will be shared later this week about how customers can pick-up physical library materials at Nichols Library, 200 W. Jefferson Ave, Naper Blvd. Library, 2035 Naper Blvd., or 95th St. Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Dr.

All library staff working curbside service will be given personal protective equipment (PPE) including disposable gloves, reusable and disposable masks, a safety shield and other PPE as needed.

Per recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, we will continue to quarantine materials for three days after they are returned to the library.

All Naperville Public Library buildings remain closed through Sunday, May 31. All in-person library programs have been cancelled through June.
