Job Description Summary
The Customer Services Specialist understands and follows the mission and values of NPL. Provides assistance with all circulation services to create a positive library experience for users. Oversees the workflow of Customer Services and assists in training staff.Collaborates with other staff to resolve circulation related issues as needed and assists in creating a positive environment.

  • Ability to function in a lead role and oversee the workflow of Customer Services
  • Ability to serve as Person in Charge
  • Strong problem solving skills to determine priorities and achieve timely solutions
Work Schedule:*
Monday 8:30am-5:00pm (12:30pm-9:00pm every three weeks)
Tuesday 8:30am-5:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm
Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

One weekend per month:
Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm
Sunday 12:30pm-5:00pm

  • Annual Vacation Accrual: 2 weeks per year
  • Holidays: 7 days per year
