Federal and State Tax Forms

The Federal government and the State of Illinois are strongly encouraging all taxpayers to file electronically.

Forms Available at the Library

The following tax forms will be available at the Library in very limited quantities.

  • Federal: 1040 and 1040-SR forms and instruction booklet. Forms 1040A and 1040EZ are no longer in use.
  • State: IL-1040 Form and instruction booklet and Schedules ICR, EIC, and WIT.

Free Tax Assistance for Low-Income Households

Naperville Public Library is pleased to offer annual tax assistance services in partnership with the Notre Dame Club of DuPage County and the Accounting Department at Benedictine University. These organizations are IRS-approved Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) locations.

If the tax assistance dates at the Library do not work for you, we encourage you to visit these sites for additional appointments.
