Stretch Out Your Summer,
Enjoy a Daytime Book Group at the Library
Take some time to relax this summer with an adult book discussion group. During June, July and August the New Horizons Book Discussion Group will meet the third Thursday of every month at 10:30 a.m. in the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center lounge, 305 W. Jackson Ave. Facilitating this group is Julie Phend. This book group is a partnership of the Naperville Public Library and the Naperville Park District.

Jhumpa Lahiri’s classic, “The Namesake” will be discussed on Thursday, August 21. This portrait of an Indian family’s immigrant experience showcases the clashes between generations and the sometimes difficult transitions in adapting to the American way of life.

For more information about other adult programs, visit our website, www.naperville-lib.org. If you wish to talk with a person or need accessibility information, call Mary Bannon, Program Coordinator, 630-961-4100, ext. 2231.
